Sterling Silver Swirl Motif Key Pendant

Cute necklace. Key is the perfect size. Very dainty looking. The chain is super cheap though. Broke pretty quickly after purchase. I'll just move the key to a better quality chain though.

I love this necklace. It is simple, can be casual or more classy, depending on your outfit. I like how minimal it is. The chain does have the necklace landing on the top of my cleavage, but I am a busty woman. For that reason, I try not to wear it with V-necks at the work place, but for after hours, it has its purpose.

I wanted to present my 18-year-old daughter with something that represents her last year of high school and all of the possibilities ahead of her. When I ordered the necklace, I planned to give it to her after her first report card, but it was so pretty that I gave it to her early. I told her that every time she looked at herself wearing it, I wanted her to remember that she is the key to her future. She can do anything she puts her mind to. She wears it everyday and tells other people the reason her mother gave her this necklace.

I was looking for a sterling silver key of ample size (just under 2") but yet different from all the ones I was finding in the jewelry stores. This key fills the bill perfectly. The top of the key is raised in a swirl pattern, adding dimension. It almost has a filigree appearance. Although solid, it is not heavy on the chain. I get a lot of compliments on this pendant.
