Striking
As I wrote in other reviews, I have this ring in four colors now because the stones are so striking. The design is simple and elegant, but eye-catching because of the stone's size. I always get compliments on them.

Ring is pretty but too lightweight
I am mostly satisfied with this ring, but there are things that could have been done better with regard to its construction. The checkerboard cut for the smokey quartz stone is really pretty and catches the light nicely. I also love the filigree design on the band; it is very detailed and attractive. However, the main thing I am dissatisfied with is the relative weight of the band compared to the stone. The silver band is very, very lightweight and very, very thin. The stone is substantial enough to warrant a heavier band. That being said, I am still pleased with the ring in general and it is a 'keeper'.

This ring is simple and quite a sparkler. I would suggest ordering a half size smaller than you would normally get.
