This product contains a 'Composite Ruby'. This stone represents a composite of natural corundum and lead glass, also known as Hybrid Ruby. This ruby has been treated to vastly improve the apparent clarity and add weight. Common exposure to heat, acid, common chemicals, lemon juice, and polishing, can drastically alter the appearance of this product.

Falling Stones
I had read a review stating the the side stones were loose/had fallen out. I was hopeful the reviewer just got a "bad egg" however I was wrong. A month to the day of having the ring, after only wearing it a maximum of 10 times, one of the side stones fell out. Luckily I was able to find the missing stone. We purchased the protection plan, so hopefully this will be resolved, but I would rather not even have to deal with this. Had I known this was an issue with ALL of the rings, I would NOT have purchased this ring. And I suggest you don't either.
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? The image was comparable.
- How accurate was the sizing? The sizing was accurate
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality is poor.

You get what you pay for...
I only wore this for a day before one of the black sapphires fell out. I took it to my jeweler who said I would need to replace ALL the prongs because the silver was so thin. Several of the other prongs had cracks already. The ring cost me about $** but I will need to pay more than $200 if I want to wear it. The red ruby has a flaw that prevents the jeweler from resetting it without breaking it.

Nice piece
Very pretty ring. Ruby is rough cut with lower clarity but artfully set and complimented by the two dark blue sapphires... Great value for the price. Lots of compliments. Wear it regularly. Looks nicer in person than in the photo.

The internet photo doesn't do this ring justice
I received this ring today and I must say it is very nice. The ruby is not rough looking as the internet photo makes it look, the ruby is dark red which I really like, and the dark stones are perfect with the ruby, it's just really pretty and a good size too.
