This was a quick purchase for my girlfriend. Everything seems fine, and she will definitely appreciate the intricate details on the locket, its quality, and the quality of the chain. The only thing that bothered me was that the gold looks more like a bronze and is barely noticeable except with close scrutiny, but again, my girlfriend should catch and appreciate it fairly quickly. Overall a good random gift, nothing too special. I made up for the lack of eye catching appeal with this piece by pairing it with a nice bracelet.

This is a pretty locket. My only disappoint was that this was advertised as red. I bought this necklace to go with a pair of red heart shaped earrings of this same design. However, the stone is more pink / rose colored than red. I was disappointed in that aspect - but happy enough with the necklace that I decided to keep it instead of return it. It is a lovely necklace.

This is a beautiful piece. It's not flimsy and it has a good solid weight. I received many compliments and I wouldn't hesitate to give one as a gift. It wears nicely with marquesite, also. Good value for your money. Don't hesitate.
