The amethyst is a very pale lavender, unlike the photo of a rich purple. Instead of facing parallel to the side of my face, they are more perpendicular. (I believe the wire may need to be more arched so they hang better...my other earrings are fine.) They are colorful and fun to wear with jeans but not as dressy as they appear. Overall, they are okay.

These are beautiful - I have worn them several times and have gotten compliments each time. They can be worn with a multitude of outfits. My only minor complaint is that they don't sit up on your ear as pictured - they kind of hang down so that not all the stones are visible when you are wearing them. I think this is because the lever clasp may be a tad too long. But still, these are beautiful and a very good value. I would recommend these to anyone!

Many people mentioned that these earrings are heavy. I was prepared for this and was pleasantly surprised that they are not. I am perfectly comfortable wearing them and forget all the time they are in my ears. The only thing I didn't like about them - purple gemstone is very pale and doesn't look like the one on the picture. I have lots of purple outfits and was hoping the earrings would match them. Oh, well... But anyway, these earrings are my favorites right now!

I bought the bracelet for my mom for Christmas, then liked the colors so well that I decided to get her the matching earrings for her birthday in January. They'll go with a variety of outfits and appear perfectly matched to many color variations. I would have liked a box for the earrings, since I'm giving them as a gift, but overall, am very happy with my purchase.

I bought these earrings as a present but I liked them so much that I kept them for myself. They are very beautiful and the multi-colored gems go with everything. The only criticism I would have is that they tend to settle, leaving a lot of the wire exposed. I wish they had been weighted in the back so they would hang perfectly.

A heavy pair of earrings. The earrings are pretty, but the posts (that part which goes in the ear piercing) are roughly finished. Between the unusually heavy weight and the poor finish of the posts, my ears quickly became irritated and I could not wear them. Tried several times to use them, but they truly cannot be worn without discomfort due to the ragged posts.

I have recently decided I love colored gemstones, so I thought a pair of earrings with multi stones would go with lots of things. However, the garnet color is very dark and the amethyst and peridot are very light in color, making it unbalanced. Your eye goes to the garnet. Even saturation of color would have made these better.

The earrings are beautiful. I have received comments from family and friends every time I wear them. I got them to match a bracelet I already had; they look great together! They are a bit heavy and slide forward in the ear revealing some of the post. After wearing them for a while you don't notice the "heaviness". The multi colored stones makes the earrings very versatile.

these earrings are beautiful! they are heavy on the ear lobe, stretching it down, but you can do what I do, put them on your pinky finger as a ring! very well made and the stones are beautiful! can't go wrong for the money.

These earrings are pretty, but the colors were a lot less brilliant and deep than the picture. I did get positive comments when I wore them, though. One of the clasps was bent, and I had to work with it to get it to close. Overall, not one of my best Overstock purchases.

These earings are very attractive and the first day I wore them, I got a compliment.......I wear them almost daily, as they are compatible with any outfit, including evening, if you want..........
I probably would have liked them just a teeny bit larger, but I'm fine with these, as is..............
