These are great necklaces! I bought them as a thank you good for my bridesmaids. They were so pretty, and such a great price that I had to buy one for myself too! They are not cheap looking in any way what-so-ever! The chain is a little thin, but I have not had any problems with the chain at all, and I've sleep with the necklace on. I bought the medium sized charm. If I could do it again, I think I would have bought the small size. But that's just a personal preference. I would highly recommend this necklace if you're thinking of purchasing it - you won't be sorry!

I felt relatively comfortable giving this as a wedding gift to my masseuse. She is having a beach wedding, and I had been looking for a starfish for a while. The pendant is a little larger than a quarter. The finish is shinier than I expected but not inappropriate for a young adult. The chain is delicate but contrasts nicely with the size of the piece and refers gently to the attenuated legs of the star. Overall, I was pleased.

I love starfish jewelry - I was very pleased when I received my package in the mail. It was everything I wanted it to be. The size of the pendant was perfect - not too small - not too large. When this necklace arrived, the box it came in was crushed. Ripped in several places and generally just destroyed. The necklace, however, was still in great condition (oh well, I didn't really need the box). The necklace was a little bigger than expected, I still like it but it is more of a statement piece. If you are looking for something more subtle definitely go with the small size. The quality of the starfish is great- I will see how it does over time, though. The chain and clasp are not good quality and the chain is too long, but this can easily be changed. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

I had been looking for a starfish necklace for quite some time after seeing someone else with one. I finally asked the person where they purchased it and she said through ********. I looked it up and realized I couldn't afford it so I went here and found exactly what I was looking for at a fraction of the cost. To be honest, I like mine much better and have received dozens of compliments.

I purchased these for my bridesmaids for my upcoming beach wedding. I bought them a few months before the wedding and I was pleased with the way they looked. They are not as nice looking as the Tiffany ones, but obviously much more affordable. When I pulled the necklaces out to wrap them up for my girls, the necklaces had tarnished and turned gold. The gold color came off by wiping them with a t-shirt, but the tarnished parts would not go away. I ended up returning them to Overstock for a partial refund and purchased necklaces elsewhere. I would recommend buying these only immediatley before you need them and don't expect to wear them for years to come.

This starfish looks more like a large spike because the starfish legs are way too long. That would be fine if the pendant was 3/4 inch wide, however this necklace is just huge. The pendant is an inch and a half wide and the way the legs point out make it look cheap. It's really obvious this is NOT the Tiffany's starfish. This item may be ok on someone with a wide neck and bigger chest area. (Think dress size 10 and up) If you're under size 10 or have chest smaller than 38C and simply want a cute necklace, get this one in size "small". The craftsman ship is alright. The chain is cheap, thin and the clasp is awful quality. But the starfish in "small" is very cute

I ordered this necklace for my sister. She LOVES it, but she and I both wish it was smaller. It's too big to be dainty. I would suggest getting the smaller version. It's lovely!

I bought three of these as gifts for my friends. When they opened their boxes, they were delighted and two of them put the necklace on immediately. One put the shiny side on and the other put what would have been the reverse side, but they both looked great on. Great price and quality for yourself or a gift.

This is a FUN necklace. Shiny, sturdy, and substantial.
