I have purchased many UGLY, but necessary medical alert bracelets during the past 20 years of having diabetes and reluctantly wore them in spite of their gaudiness. THIS IS A BEAUTY, and given the price you should not hesitate another second. BUY THIS BRACELET. As a gift or for yourself, you will be very happy you did.
I bought this medical alert bracelet some time ago and I always get great compliments on it. It is a great value as well. I went to the local pet store and had my allergy engraved for a small fee. For those of you women who dont have large features it's a great asset to your jewelry collection. I looked around for a long time before I found something that I was comfortable wearing for my allergy awareness. I highly recommend this product.
I purchased this bracelet based on other favorable reviews. It arrived quickly. I put in on in January 2004 and have not taken it off since, and I've had no problems with the bracelet. I had mine engraved for $15 at a local engraver shop with the word "Diabetic" on the back. (shop around when looking for engravers, don't pay $40 at the mall!) The silver develops a nice patina and doesn't need to be polished, because constant wear keeps it shiny. It's delicate enough to wear other bracelets with, and it lies very flat on my wrist. I've been diabetic for 32 years and this is the first bracelet I've liked to wear. Keep up the good work, Overstock.com.
For such a long time medical ID bracelets were NOT fasionable! I was recently in the hospital and received so many compliments on this bracelet. Engraving was very inexpensive and it looks great with other bracelets. What a bargain! It looks so elegant on my wrist while still giving me the peace of mind that it does what it was designed to do. Help medical personal do their job correctly. Thanks Overstock you came through with flying colors as always!
First nice medical bracelet I have seen. Difficult to get on.
I was very impressed with the sterling silver medical bracelet which I purchased for my 7 year old daughter. It is quite pretty, but still sturdy enough for her to wear at all times, even when swimming. We also recieved it in an extremely timely manner.
As usual, Overstock had something that looked better than what we found i stores. Of course, it was also cheaper.

I gave this to my mother years ago and she wears it all the time. It's as good today as it was then. Attractive jewelry and very important medical info engraved on the back.

The bracelet looks like a real piece of jewelry. It is lightweight and fits my wrist well. The only problem was getting it engraved. I checked several places and many wanted more for the engraving than I paid for the bracelet. I finally found a place that charged $20 and considered myself lucky.
This bracelet is just perfect, perfect price, perfect fit, attractive! Prettier in person!.
I am a beader, so I added some "bling" to each link to spice it up. I get compliments each time I wear it, and I had it engraved with my diabetic medical condition. I am not totally crazy with the lobster clasp; it seems a bit difficult to open and close, but the weight of the piece is good and it fits well.
High quality and very nice looking. Took it to my jeweler for engraving and he said it is better than the bracelets that he has in his store.
I've been looking for a medical bracelet that didn't look like the typical medical bracelet. It's stylish and doesn't make you feel like you are announcing to the world that you have a problem. It's a subtle way to let people who need to know that you have a special need. Can't beat the price either, I was getting ready to pay twice as much for the same thing, I'm glad I thought about Overstock before I bought. Thanks O!
My daughter is 25 and has had diabetes since she was 2 years old.. once she got older it was hard to get her to wear Medical ID-- When she moved 3000 miles away I really worried about her so I got this ID and had it engraved with "DIABETES-- Insulin Pump"-- (and MY phone number)... The ID is tiny so I wasn't sure there would be room but it fit. She says she loves this bracelet and has not taken it off since the day it arrived.. I did add a small red medical alert charm to the clasp side. The charm and engraving cost more than the bracelet but was worth it.
Quick delivery. Bracelet is well made, high quality with very good price, lots of room from engraving. I highly recommend.
my 8 yr old granddaughter was diagnoised with type 1 diabetes, this bracelet is a neccesity for a child. it's attractive, durable. i only wish you handled engraving so i could receive it complete.
Im am 25 and live in Southern California... i have spent years not wearing a medical ID because they were not trendy or dainty enough. I didn't want something that would announce to the world that I was Diabetic, It only needed to announce to a medical responder if necessary. This bracelet does the trick. I am very active and have not taken it off nor broken it. It has been hiking, to the gym, to the beach, and everywhere in between. Because I knew I would be hard on it i used a thick deep print when having it engraved. I would recommend to anyone, but especially to Teens, or women with small wrists.
My gripes with this product are: 1. I had no way of knowing what the exact size my wrist was. It turned out to be a little too big. 2. The clasp was almost impossible to put on myself so I wound up breaking it. The opening of the clasp needs to be bigger so that it's not so difficult to put on. I literally spent more than 20 minutes trying to put it on and finally used a pair of tweezers to squeeze the clasp to hold it open. Well, this broke the clasp. I didn't want to wear the bracelet while in the shower, so taking it off and on was a real hastle. I liked the look of the bracelet, though. It was what I wanted. The chain was well made.
Had it engraved on the back, there was room for phone and allergy item. Fits petite wrist, looks good and is such a useful piece of jewlery
It's feminine looking and fitting. Not a big cluncky medical ID bracelet. Really nice size emblem - not overwhelming. Bracelet itself is sturdy yet pretty. I even liked the clasp- it doesn't get caught on my sweater/ shirt sleeves and cause pulls like my old ID bracelet. Only negative may be the cost of having it engraved with illness. But even that was only $16. at a local engraving place.
