Seeing the marcasite up close is helpful. I had pictured it with black -colored background like some wedding rings. Overall, not bad.

I continue to be disappointed that O. rarely displays their necklaces on a neck! It would be so helpfuli in their video / photos for we shoppers to better judge the scale & proportion of any piece. ( A picture does really say a thousand words! ) Even though the size is listed in the product description, I think each of us probably imagines the size we feel that it should be! In relative terms, I would say that this pendant measures equivalent to a square dime & that most people would be delighted to add this piece to their jewelry box. The chain it came with is O.K., --- so-so. I personally switched it out for an Omega slider chain. Onyx Pendant : FIVE*****(very enthusiastic)*****STARS !
