The hardest thing about ordering jewelery online is getting a sense of the true scale of the piece. The other reviews were quite accurate. The chain is very thin, so I put it on a bit thicker chain. The pendant itself if exactly 2 inches long The marcasite looks very nice with excellent detail. I would recommend it.

The looks of the pendant is beautiful, however, it is a little too large for my neck. You have to wear an awfully low shirt for it to fit nicely around your neck and be seen. I wouldn't have purchased it if I would have realized what the size would look like on me.

I love the pendent, very dramatic. I don't think the chain really goes with the pendent as the chain is delicate, the pendant is not. Will probably switch out the chain, but for most that don't want to feel like they're doing microscopic surgery to take a chain on and off , it's not a bad idea anyway. The pendent is classy enough and versatile enough to wear many ways... love it!

This pendant is unusually large. I was really hoping for something a little more feminine, but this struck me as sort of gothic. I bought it as a gift, and I really didn't care for it when I gave it. Just realize it is well over an inch long and quite wide. Not dainty at all.
