I bought this as a Christmas gift for a close friend. It was fine on first inspection, but looking at it closer.. I discovered a large amount of tarnish on it. I was mortified! I had to take it to a store to have it cleaned, which was a difficult process in itself because of the onyx. The straps are made up of individual strands of silver chain, which are extremely pretty-- however-- some are longer than others, so hang funny. In the end, it cost more to have it cleaned and the straps adjusted to all the same length, than the piece cost in the first place.

I love this bracelet. I wear it for meetings, and holidays. It has the right amount of sparkle, and the marcarsite shines like a million diamonds. The onyx stone has good weight, with no cracks, very shiny.

I can't say enough good things about this bracelet. Great fit, feels good on my wrist and it's beautiful. I can hardly believe it but it hasn't caught on anything at all. I absolutely recommend this piece!

Bought this for a friend who is a docent in Virginia City, NV. She dresses up in Civil War era costume and this looked like a perfect piece to go with her elaborate ensembles. It was! Looked so much better than in the picture! Gorgeous! If only it were part of a set. And if only it were a bit less expensive. But when I got it in the mail, it was definitely worth it. Great for an ultra-retro look or to jazz up your drab-wear.

The workmanship on this bracelet is wonderful. No problems with the clasp. I tend to prefer jewelry with vintage styling and this bracelet doesn't disappoint. It's truly reminiscent of a by-gone era. I bought the matching ring and earrings and now have a lovely set to go with basic black. Couldn't be more pleased.

I probably could have found a cheaper alternative by looking for local sales, but all in all this is a nice bracelet. I agree with previous reviewers that it would have been nice to be able to adjust for size as 7 inches is a little loose on me too. It has a nice weight-not at all flimsy but not so heavy that it would be uncomfortable. I think it will prove to be a very versatile piece of jewelry.

The actual bracelet looks much better than photo. I'm glad I purchased it. Definitely catches the eye. Just beautiful.

I really love the bracelet but as another reviewer pointed out that if you are a petite woman then it is a little large because the minimum length available is 7 inch, so you have to be careful while wearing it as it tends to slip quite a lot on the wrist. I wish it was possible to get Marcasite bracelets in 6 inch size.

I love this bracelet it is bold and I have a small wrist and it looks and feels great. My wrist is 6 1/2 so if you larger than a 71/2 it would be to tight. I would love to have a matching necklace.
