This is a lovely piece, although the size is definitely misleading. When it arrived, I had expected something a little bigger. This piece is exactly what I was looking for albeit size. I was expecting it to be at least 1". It was more like 3/4" or just under. Too bad, because it has a very nice sparkle and I have received compliments on it.

Cute necklace, but do be aware the starfish is very,very small as I had read in the other reviews.The chain is dainty also. Like the necklace, for the price I was happy. I was not disappointed,it was what I had expected.

I gave this to a college student and she loved it (we live by the beach). It reminds her of home while she is back East for school. Really sweet and a good price.

This item is fairly lightweight and very cute. Unlike other reviewers I actually liked the chain and found it to be pretty substantial and good quality for the price. The pendant was very small and light weight, but appropriate for the right person. Jewelry is all subjective as you have to evaluate how it looks on you. Although I liked this item, the tiny size, and dull overall color of marcasite was barely visible on me and almost looked washed out in my medium toned skin. Only recommend if you LOOK GOOD in dainty jewelry or have very fair or dark skin. If you have medium skin tone and usually LOOK GOOD IN BOLD JEWELRY, dont buy it, as this was the case with me. I returned it because of that reason. Although quality is good.

For the low cost of this item I was expecting little, which to my surprise it is a beautiful piece and does not look cheap. I have received many compliments on it and love this purchase!

i was most happy with this necklace. i had read some reviews that thought the chain was weak and cheap but i didn't find it to be that way at all. i think its quite lovely and you can't beat the price! it looks way more expensive than $****.

I absolutely love this necklace! In fact, I have now purchased 4 of them. Two were for gifts. This last one was to replace my initial one. The chain broke when I was changing and I just had to have another. I think it's a good value. I love starfish and was looking for a starfish necklace. I get many compliments on it. However, the chain is very weak. This second one has already come loose around the clasp. I was able to fix with tweezers. Not too happy about that...but love the pendant! Overall, I would recommend!

The charm looks exactly like the description, but to me, the necklace part looks and feels a bit cheap, even though I believe it is sterling silver. That's the only downer of this necklace. Otherwise it is very sweet and the charm was larger than I expected, which was nice. Good value. It would be appropriate for a pre-teen or teenage girl.

I bought this item for my adult niece as a Christmas gift so I haven't given it to her yet. My purchase was based on the online picture and the positive reviews. It is a good quality necklace. The chain is exceptionally nice. The pendant is kind of small but is still pretty and I'm sure she will get lots of compliments on it. I would recommend this purchase if you're looking for a nice looking pendant necklace. Also, I'm sure you could use the chain with another pendant if you wanted to.

I bought this as a gift for my sister, who reported it "beautiful," and that she'd not taken it off since she got it. She scuba dives, and remarked that it was very realistic. Only complaint is that though I filled out a "gift message," she didn't get it, and I had to call and ask if she got it.

I love my starfish necklace. I've been looking for one for a couple of months and once I saw this one, I just had to have it. The starfish is a pretty good size and the chain is the perfect length. It looks really good with low cut or scoop neck shirts. I wear the necklace almost everyday. I would definitely recommend buying this. I know you'll love it as much as I do!
