The Mother of Pearl pendant is an attention getter. I got lots of compliments from friends and acquaintances and it looks perfect for most of my wardrobe. I highly recommend this to friends and relatives.
I bought this for my daughter-in-law who likes very simple jewelry. I expected it to be bigger, but was pleased with the actual size. I only wish there was something in the packaging identifying it as mother-of-pearl.
I have purchased numerous pieces of marcasite jewelry from Overstock and have always been very pleased. This is the least favorite of my purchases. The necklace was meant to be a graduation gift and I have kept it for myself and bought a marcasite locket with which I was far more pleased. and will give it as the graduation gift.
What can I say, I love buying my wife heart jewelry. She already has both the Sterling Silver Marcasite Onyx and Turquoise necklaces. This completes the set (for now). She loves all of them and the price is right!
The picture and the actual item look exactly the same, with one exception. The pendant is actually much thinner and lighter than I expected and has a tendency to flip over, exposing the back. I like the necklace, don't get me wrong, and the price was certainly nice, but I thought it would be a little heavier or more substantial than it actually is. The same goes for the matching earrings...very light weight, but nice.
