I bought these as a gift for my sister. The earrings are just what I wanted, but the packaging was a disappointment - the earrings stuck in a kind of styrofoam, put in a small ziploc bag, then put in a red velveteen bag with a big "O" in gold. If you buy, you might want to transfer to a gift box or something nicer if you are giving as a gift.

I bought these marcasite love knot earrings to compliment the beautiful marcasite and mother of pearl bracelet I also bought on Overstock, and I absolutely love these earrings! They sparkle and are just the right size, I was worried they might be heavy but they are light and very comfortable on the ear, even for all day wear. I think the love knot style is so dainty and feminine and I have received tons of compliments on these. If you get them, please do consider also getting the bracelet or other marcasite pieces from Overstock to go with because putting them together makes you look like a million bucks!

Lovely earrings - well worth the price!

I really found these earrings to be pretty fancy looking with my hair up and i love them. The earrings are worth the purchase only complaint is that when they arrived the earring back post was bent and had to carefully straighten out while praying it wouldnt break, wala this time lucky other than that love them. They were bent due to arriving in a little bag, but, if boxed no problem. Come on overstock not asking for fancy packaging just a simple little box to protect the earrings.

These are beautiful earrings that can be worn whether dressed up or down. I purchased these earrings because I needed a heavier looking marcasite to wear with a marcasite locket (purchased through Overstock.com). The earrings are exactly as pictured. To give you an idea of the size, about half of th earring falls below the earlobe. I recieved them with the studs bent (due to packaging), but they were easy to straighten out.

earrings were fine, just not for me. way too small for my taste. Bought them for a specific office type outfit but seldom wear even though I have matching pendant.

Very nice earrings larger than what I expected judging from the picture. Fast shipping.

I actually like these earrings...they are bigger than they appear in the picture...(another instance where comparison to an actual item would have been helpful) However...the placement of the post on the back makes them hang almost completely face down! You don't get to see how beautiful they are! I don't want to return them...so will seek another option to wear them...but it's a shame such a pretty earring has such an easily fixed problem!! Somebody tell the manufacturer!!

These were pretty earrings. I got them to match my marcasite necklace I got to wear for my wedding. The earrings were not as nice a quality as the necklace but decent for the money. I had to return them though because I have an allergy to nickel. My ears were red and swollen within 5 minutes. If you aren't allergic they are nice earrings.

These were bigger than I expected but that is a good thing. They don't get lost on my ears and look good. The posts are sold, but not too thick. Very nice.

I gave these as a gift, and they are very nice indeed. There are some reviews that say they are smaller than expected - that's misleading. I was looking for smaller earrings, but I liked these. Based on the reviews and a look at the ruler, I thought the ruler must not be accurate - it shows about a half an inch for the size. Turns out, these are bigger than what I expected - they really are about a half inch. At least for me ruler method is tricky when the different earrings available have different scale for the ruler size, (or no ruler at all) - When you look at the 1 inch ruler for these earrings, it's actually 2 inches long in the screen image! The recipient really doesn't wear earrings this big - but she says she likes them. She may end up never wearing them, though, I suspect, because of the size.Maybe using a coin for scale would be easier than a ruler that really isn't the right size in the screen image? While looking through different earrings, I noticed a trend in complaints about unexpected size. There should be a way for Overstock to make this a less common misunderstanding? Or at least make the larger view a true-to-life 1 inch ruler (hence 4 stars, not 5). That being said, if you are looking for earrings this size - you will love these!

These earrings are just perfect! I purchased them for my mother for Mother's Day along with the matching necklace.They are well crafted and well worth the $$. Big hit!! Thanks Overstock for another success!

this looks great with anything from a basic tee to a classic plain black dress.

The earings were much smaller than what was described. While I did in fact admire them, they were also two differant colors as well.

These were very pretty and met my expectations. The size was a little small but matched the pendant.

Unlike most marcasite earrings, these don't dangle and distract. I never wear dangling earrings, but marcasite post style earrings are hard to find. These are perfect.

I purchased these earrings and when I received them the posts were bent and appeared weak. I was not happy with the quality or condition of these earrrings at all. I've been happy with all other Overstock purchases but I don't recommend buying these at all.
