The chain is not real sturdy but the pendant is way cool, I absolutely love it. I just bought a more hefty chain to go with it. I actually bought two of these pendants, one of them has a small flaw (a small dot) on the pendant (where the silver wasnt completely filled in).. It doesnt bother me enough to return it though.
I am very pleased with this purchase. The pendant is very well crafted...better than I expected. The chain might be a bit light weight for the pendant, but still overall it is a very good value.
I found this to be a substantial fleur de lis pendant both in size and amount of sterling silver. It is large but not too large. I have trouble finding fleur de lis jewelry that is quality, but this is just perfect to wear for all sorts of situations, from casual to fancy.
