I purchased this locket for my granddaughter's birthday in a few months. I'll enclose photos of my husband & myself and it will be her keepsake from us. Overstock did not disappoint again. Wonderful piece of jewelry.

I could not tell that there was a rose design on this pendant. The pendant itself looked cheap; the metal is thin, very hollow sounding and looked dull. The carved rose did not look like a rose; it looked like a dark, indistinguishable glob. The chain on the other hand, is beautiful. It’s long and shiny. I only kept it because the chain is the perfect width to fit through some pendants I have that have very small bails. Other than the chain being beautiful and perfect, the pendant is cheap.

I would recommend it to a friend, but for an adult or someone who is easy on their jewelry. It's made well, the hinge is done very well, and the little lock thinger works great, the only thing is, the metal is a little thin for my taste. I like a good weighty necklace and this is a little light to me. But I will still wear it and enjoy it and keep my beloved's picture in it. It polished wonderfully, and still kept it's patina.

Nicely made, with a pretty chain, I recently paid $24.00 for the chain itself. The rose relief is nicely defined. I know my mother Rosemary will enjoy it.

Very pretty, was a replacement for another type of locket purchased on Overstock, was greatful that this one stayed closed.

The locket was a disappointment when I received it. In fact, I went out and bought another gift to augment the locket because I didn't think it could stand by itself. The locket is not quite as crisp as the picture online. The design is muted and dulled giving it a cheap look and feel. I thought the rear looked better than the front and I found myself wishing the entire locket was like the back. The necklace is nice enough, however. The area designed for the picture is a bit small. It is also hard to cut a photo into the heart shape so it fits well. I attempted to return this item but the web page said it was unreturnable. Be sure to read the fine print on any jewelry purchases.

The locket was a 16th b-day present for our daughter. It was perfect and she loved it. The locket is pretty big and really makes a statement and is very unique. She likes vintage-looking pieces so it was perfect with the raised rose. Looks better once in person than on-line. Although the chain is very sturdy and pretty, it is much too long and does not display up on the chest. I will have to take it to get it shortened so it actually shows when she wears it.

Purchased this for a nephew to give to his girlfriend so I never saw it. But he said it was "nice".

The locket had more bling in person then it did in the pictures. She loved it.
