This necklace is just perfect. The gold is not too shiny, and it does have a bit of weight to it. It seems that many customers purchase items without reviewing the sizes. Make sure it is the size you'd like. Especially with jewelry, things tend to be much smaller than anticipated. It also seems that people are expecting something extraordinary from a gold plated product ordered online. The bottom line is, this is a beautiful, lovely product that I wear all the time and it has yet to show signs of wear. That said, it is what it is. I wasn't expecting the most detailed hand made item, because it isn't such. If you are looking for something like that, I would commission it from your local goldsmith.

I purchased this as a gift for my mom. However, when it came, it looked really cheap. I searched Black Hills Gold and did not realize that this is Black Hills style. I think it is made in Taiwan.

The chain is nice, but the workmanship on the pendant leaves something to be desired. It looks cheap.

I purchased this for my mom for Mother's day and she absolutely loved it! It's MUCH prettier than I expected and is not a "lightweight" pendant. The chain wasn't the length we needed, so I replaced it, but otherwise, this was a find!
