I ordered it, and it suprisingly came 2 days after I ordered it. I got this locket for my girlfriend for valentines day, and she loved it. It came in a cute and small red box; perfect to wrap up right away. It also came shining and freshly polished, so there was no need to clean it at all. It has a pretty and detailed engraving and has a lot of detail. It also seems pretty strong, and unscratchable. It doesnt look like you could do a lot to break it. Its lightweight, and perfect as a gift. My girlfriend wears it every day, and she keeps reminding me how much she loves it. I didn't pay $100, like i probably would if I looked anywhere else as always on overstock. I highly recommend this necklace if you are looking for something perfect for your special person, or even yourself. High quality, for a small price.

This was a gift for my niece who is only 3 years old. I was concerned that it would be too big, too long, etc. since I couldn't get a clear idea of size and length from the website. The information supplied in the description by overstock was perfect but I'm not a numbers person, I'm visual. Luckily, it arrived and was perfect. I did purchase another locket that was not suitable and needed to be returned. I did not read the return policy clearly and was alarmed to learn that I would have to pay to ship it back. I "chatted" with a wonderful representative who helped me resolve the situation as a first time customer and keep me as a future overstock.com buyer!

I recommend for a child not an adult.... Cute and pretty... very light and small. Do recommend another chain... the one that is sent looks and feels cheap....

I got the lockets for stocking stuffers at Christmas. Everyone seemed to be happy with them.

locket is not made to hold a picture. it is concave inside to hold a small pair of earrings or something like that. very small locket itself. the outside appearance is nice. however, i would not recommend this for a child. i bought it for my 8yr. old and it is too long. needed a 13'' chain instead of this 18''.

I gave this locket to my granddaughter for her 17th birthday and she loved it. she wears silver and had not been able to find a locket that opened and held photos. This locket is beautiful.

I purchased this locket for my 8 year old niece this past Christmas and she's been wearing it ever since! It was better than I thought. The size was perfect for a child and the finish was gorgeous. My only qualm, a small one, is that the interior finish wasn't as nice when one is to open it, though easily hidden when a small pic is placed inside.

I bought this locket for a student of mine because she has separation anxiety when away from her mother. It was perfect for her to put a picture of the herself on one side and her mother on the other. I catch her opening it in class several times a day. It looks great whether buying for a child or adult. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the size of the inside to fit a picture. It was quite tiny and you could only fit the heads of people if you shrink the photo small enough. Overall a great gift though.

I bought this necklace as a Christmas gift for my best friend. I am satisfied with it, the chain looks cheap so I went out and bought a nicer one for the locket. The engravings are beautiful, but it did need some polishing. The shipment was speedy (I recieved it within one week) and included a small box to place the necklace in; I find this box to be a great feature, as I will no longer be needing to purchase one. All in all a great deal, and a bautiful locket.
