Sterling Silver Emerald Two-row Ring (Size 7)

Very unhappy. I bought this ring for my mom's birthday this month & when I got the ring out of the box, it absolutely does not look like the picture above. The green was light and pale, not even close to an emerald and I can't even return it! What am I going to do with this ring now? They need to change the picture on here and be honest about what it really looks like.

I was really excited to find this ring because I'd looked for an emerald ring on other websites and none were as beautiful as this one.It was going to be a present for my friend's upcoming birthday in May and (as you know) Emerald is the birthstone of the month of May.It arrived just in time for her birthday and I excitedly opened the box just to find something that looked nothing like the picture posted.The color of the Emeralds were pale to the point where i mistook them for Jade!When i called to see if there was any way this was a mistake or if it could be fixed customer service told me that the fine print states the stones may vary in color and that they were out of stock so they couldn't even send me another one.Needless to say i sent it back and got a refund. It won't deter me from shopping with overstock.com but it did make me aware that i should be more cautious of what i purchase.

I usually love everything I get from overstock put was a little disappointed this time. My boyfriend bought this ring for me as a gift and it arrived missing one stone. It wasn't too obvious and I didn't want to hurt his feelings so we kept it. However, a few months later another stone fell out. It is a good looking ring but not as clear and sparkly as it looks in the photo. The workmanship is just not that great. I would suggest paying a little more for a different ring.
