Sterling Silver Black Diamond Accent Mini Hoop Earrings

I love "huggie" earrings so despite other negative reviews I decided just to try these. First off, they're not very huggie - i.e. they dangled from my ears. Second, they were very painful to get out of my ears because the post has a small hook on it to clip into the back. All my other huggie earrings have the same thing but the hook was poorly designed on these and actually was caught in my ear like a fishhook. Like other reviews have said, the "diamond accent" is literally one mini stone in the middle. For the price, I guess you can't do any better but overall I didn't like that they didn't hug my ear and the post was too poorly designed to be worth keeping. Back they go.

The earrings were very pretty, however, I may have misread the description because I thought they were clip on earrings. Since my ears are not pierced, I gave them to my daughter-in-law who loved them.

The earrings are beautiful except for this little hook that goes through the ear. When you try to take them out, it gets stuck in the ear and you have to literally pull and scrape the inside of your earring whole to get it out. It was the worst experience.

These are a nice size and weight for everyday, which is what I wanted. Price is definitely good. The teeny black diamonds give good sparkle. The big issue is the very primitive closure: the stem going through your earhole has a "hook" on the end that really hurts when you pull it out. I will try to maybe soften it with a nail file. If it weren't for this issue I'd wear them everyday.
