I got this necklace and matching earrings. It's very pretty, looks refreshing on you. I would recommend it to anybody who likes color jeweleries.
I purchased this necklace as a present for my new mother-in-law as a Mother's Day present. She and I both love amethyst... it happens to be her birthstone. The chain was shiny, sturdy and long, which pleased me because so many other necklace reviews complain about the daintiness and shortness of the chain. The two gemstones were a beautiful shade and complimented each other well. She loved the necklace... it is a nice, bigger size and is so ELEGANT!!!! When I opened the box, I was so impressed that I would've kept it for myself. I was pleased to see that the picture on the listing was "true to life" - it looks exactly like the picture...Just gorgeous!

The silver amethyst stone was so beautiful and well worth the price. The necklace was very delicate and made for a small neck. But that didn't bother me. I have plenty of silver necklaces so I can always put it on one of my other necklaces. I bought this one for my Mother so I went out and found a beautiful silver 24' necklace for only $32 dollars. I wanted the beautiful stone not the necklace anyway and I would pay double or more for the stone it self if I tried to buy it anyplace else. I have never been disappointed in overstocks products. I do almost all my shopping with them from Christmas, to birthdays and I have never had to send anything back. Keep up the good work overstock. I love shopping with you!!

Cute, delicate chain. The pendant displays a pleasant combination of pastel shades: light purple and lavender. The back of silver case of the pendant could use a little more craftsmanship though. It looks a bit rough. But on the whole it is an elegant necklace.
