The size was dramatically small. But it's beautiful and very elegant for the asking price. I love it with my LBD and a loose up do. The only problem is that it's not for everyday use. It was a beautiful shade of purple but a little too shiny. It's really pretty though the only other thing is that the chain is a bit thin.
Great necklace for the price. Matched it to amethyst earrings and a ring of similar price and color. Received a compliment the first day. Put it on a more expensive chain, as I have sensitive skin and broke out from the original. Very happy with it.
I am a frequent Overstock.com customer and this is one of the best values I've encountered. The necklace is very pretty and shiny, the amethyst is a good size, not too big to wear as an everyday necklace. My only complaint is that the amethyst is a little lighter than shown in the picture. Overall a beautiful piece and well worth the price! If you are unsure about this purchase, do yourself a favor and just get it. For the price it's well worth it.
