I am highly disappointed in overstock. Had I known they are importing jewelry from China I would not have made a purchase here. I have gotten nice earings from them before and I believe this is the first time I have gotten something that was made in China. Shame on you overstock! I will not be making any other purchases from you again unless I can verify the product is made in the USA!!!!

I was a little disappointed with the earrings because from the picture I thought I would be purchasing bright purple amethyst earrings. However, when they arrived the color is so light, they almost appear to be clear. They are a pretty pair of earrings, just not as bright as I'd hoped.

I bought these as a present for a friend. She loves purple! I was so disappointed when I got them because the stones are so pale. Worse, though, is that the stones in each earring don't match one another. It makes the earrings look very cheap. They're going back.

These earrings are okay. The prongs are bent in, which makes them look a little cheap, but the stones are pretty. The clasps don't seem too sturdy. We'll see how they hold up.

I am looking for dark amethyst sterling silver hoop earrings - which is what the picture shows. I read the reviews before I purchased these earrings and the reviews said they were dark and beautiful but when I received my earrings they are a light amethyst so I am disappointed with them. To me the picture is very misleading. They are still pretty so I am keeping them, but they are not what I was expecting by the picture and the reviews.

I love amethysts, and I love silver. You can see that these aren't set in gold, but that's fine with me, and it's a great value for the price. The stones themselves are round, so if you have two piercings in each ear, you can add small amethyst studs to make a great look. One thing I really like is the catch in the back that ensures the earrings won't fall out. I really love these gorgeous earrings, and am considering getting another pair for my sister, who also loves amethysts and silver! Oh, and they do look like the picture; these aren't pale lilac amethysts; they are deep purple amethysts.

These earrings are a knock out! The Amethyst is a deep, rich, royal purple. The stones are fairly large and sparkle beautifully. The hoops are a nice medium size and are substantial. Bought these for a friends birthday and will be buying myself a pair also. Love them!

The clear, violet stones appear so lovely against the silver hoops, I was awed when I first opened the package. This is definitely a quality purchase. February is my sister's birthday so she got her birthstone and I got a great bargain!
