I wouldn't call this an exciting necklace to give someone as a gift but it is a great everyday piece. The pendant is heavy and nice quality. Only two cons . . . one is it was a bit shorter than I wanted but I still wear it often. The other is the clasp feels cheap and it is not the easiest to use. Overall I would say to buy this piece if you are looking for a nice simple necklace to wear everyday.

This piece was purchased as a gift for Christmas, and I was very pleased with how substantial it appeared and felt.
The price for the quality of this piece is phenomenal - and it's hard not to buy one for myself as well.
My sister-in-law exclaimed, "I just love it" and she wore it all christmas night and the day after as well.
Thank you Overstock.com for making this purchase so easy and making me look great for my taste in jewelry!

It is a very nice piece of jewelry. It looks better in person than on the website.

expected a HUNK of silver that made a statement. It's nice, but nothing
to rave about. I would recommend it if you're looking for a standard,
respectable, everyday piece. I'm not sure it would make an exciting
gift.

I'm still skeptical about ordering things online, so I was pleasantly surprised that this pendant was everything I had hoped for; my wife loved it.
