Got this for my adult daughter to go with an amber pendant I had gotten her for Xmas. I wanted something a bit heavier than the usual chain that comes with a necklace. Perfect because it's substantial enough to hold up with her 3 yr old tugging on it.

If you want a light rope, this is for you, but I was looking for weight as well a sparkle. The color and sparkle on this one does not hold up very long. I wore it for about a week and already the color was changing to gray.

I did a search for Masculine silver chain. This chain came up and looked to be 1/4 in or more in diameter. When I received it it has a tiny diameter. almost too small for me to wear and nothing a 6'2 200 pound 14 year old grandson would want!
