I bought this ring for my husband for our 1 yr to replace his wedding ring which was already messed up. Its a very nice ring, lightweight, veyr shiny and looks great. I was hoping it might be a bit more scratch resistant, that way my husband could wear it when he skateboards, but apparently nothing is a match for grip tape, which covers the tops of skateboards and is like sand paper. His ring is already scratched and I had to ask him to stop wearing it while he skateboards. But if it helps, I think grip tape might actually do the same to gold or even platinum, his first ring was titanium and it didn't fare well either.
Last year my boyfriend bought me a beautiful 1/5 diamond ring in a gold setting for a few hundred dollars and gave it to me as a promise ring (we're not ready to get engaged yet, but we want to marry each other) and due to a lack of job I was unable to get him anything in return.
