exactly as expected
Cufflinks looked exactly as pictured. Nice reflections off the black in patterns that change with the light angle: horizontal, vertical or checkered lines of light.

Nice if you're not a perfectionist
The one's I received have some imperfections in the coating over the carbon fiber. It wouldn't be a big deal but it's noticeable when it catches the light. The plating also looks a little cheap. They're a bit too much bling for me anyway so I'm going to scuff them to make them satin and see if it helps. Quality is comparable to ones I can find for cheaper in my local discount stores. The flip mechanism seems fine and locks well. Overall not bad but price should probably be around $15.
