Gemstone 'Fire Flower' Choker (Thailand)

I love this necklace. It is delicate and is well beaded. The carnelian and citrine beads are beautifully crafted and I have had no problem with comfort wearing this choker,, another reviewer mentioned it was itchy, mine is not. It is elegant and I get so many compliments and it is unique.Thank you.

Absolutely stunning! I had to take and show this to everyone. It is so pretty and unusual you want to display it. I have had a wonderful time showing it off and telling the unusual story about it and the craftsman.

Plus side: The design of this necklace is inspired, and I recommend that Novica produce this in other colors: jade, aventurine, coral, amethyst, etc. Down side: The tendrils are of stainless steel, not silver as originally advertised. I would prefer to pay more and have real silver. The workmanship is so-so, and the stone quality is passable. I will probably keep this one, but I would prefer to have more citrine to emphasize yellow tones. Additionally, it is itchy-irritating to the skin because the intricate metal work pokes the skin. Still, I like the necklace. If it becomes available in other colors, and especially with real silver tendrils, I will be first in line to buy one!

This is an exquisite piece of jewelry ~ craftmanship is unique and looks very sophisticated. I am awaiting to show it off . I love it! Let me know when I can purchase the bracelet that goes with it !!! I'll take it in a heartbeat.

I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend of mine and it is just gorgeous! I love that this is a Novica piece and that National Geographic works with local jewelry makers in different countries to bring us these incredible pieces. This is just as beautiful in person as it looks on the web-site and it's quite stunning on. The only thing I would change is to add a Novica certificate you could give with the gift. For some people (including my friend,) knowing who made the piece and that it is authentic to a given region is really important. Otherwise though, I am completely satisfied - this is an incredible necklace and she absolutely loved it!
