The stone's color is not represented accurately. It is so dark you can't see any amber color. If you want a black stone then the product is pretty.

This is a lovely necklace and made a great gift. My daughter wears it very often. As a vet tech she doesn't wear rings or braclets but loves this necklace. She said it makes her feel pretty.

It did take quite a while to get the necklace, but once I did, it was as pretty as its picture. The size and everything about it was exactly like the photo. The only problem I've had with it was that one of the leather strands came out of the end piece. It kept coming out after I pushed it back into place. The only way that I could see to remedy the situation was to crimp the ends once the strand was replaced. So far, so good! When I was younger I had quite a few pieces of jewelry made with copper. I'd almost forgotten how pretty it is. It's not as expensive as silver or gold but a very nice alternative and change from the usuals. I'd been wanting amber for quite a while and now I have it-it is well worth the wait!

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. This gets a bit shaky-the first time that I wore it, one of the leather strands came out of the end piece! I crimped the pieces and so far they haven't come back out.

I was and am very disappointed with this product and will probaby send it back. The amber is so dark brown that it doest resemble amber at all...there is not even a hint of orange or yellow in it!
