Skagen Men's Titanium Gun Metal Mesh Bracelet Watch

I love Skagen watches. For the money, they are probably the best watch deal out there. Sophisticated and beautiful without wiping out your savings. I've been debating getting a new one for a while. When I saw this come up, I decided to go for--its about $40 or $50 less than in the stores. (But then I saw it on Amazon for *** less than that. Ah well. Still a great deal.) I considered returning it because in most lighting, the color of the face blends in with the color of the band, and both seem brownish. This sort of washes out the contrast that I would have liked--the stark contrast between the black and the grey in site image is impressive--and while you can get it to look almost as it does on the site by holding it in certain ways, don't expect that to be the norm. Still, its a beautiful watch. And it has another very clear advantage over most watches: size. If you are like me and prefer small and lite watches--whether because you have small wrists or for aesthetic purposes--this is hard to beat. I actually compared it to a similar Skagen with a true silver-colored band and that watch was significantly larger--still smaller than many other brands, but a good bit larger than this. (Oh, and that silver was too "blingy" for me--really shiny.)

• How did the image on site compare with the actual product? Not quite right. In most lighting, the color of the face blends in to the color of the band, and both seem almost brown. This sort of washes out the contrast that I would have liked--and that looks present in the site image.
