I bought this as a gift for my brother. It arrived in good condition and in very attractive packaging. The silver sheen of the wood is a nice contrast to the rich, black velvet interior. There is plenty of room for 12 watches. My brother has the box full, and it's a pretty impressive display. Well worth the cost.

Box is as pictured. While it looks nice, the hinges are of poor quality. less than one week after receipt of the item, the hinges are broken and need replacement. because the box is otherwise great in appearance and of good material and quality, I will keep it and replace the hinges myself. One major design flaw, otherwise very nice item. If you can fix the hinges yourself, I would recommend. If you cannot, then you should not purchase this item

The photo at Overstock was too dark for me to tell how far about the slots for the watches were, so I was pretty disappointed to get it and see how much wasted space was between slots (making it much bigger than I expected...and wanted). In addition, it was cracked in two places. Because I live outside the U.S., I would have had to mail it back at my expense for a refund, and then try to get my postage reimbursed, but not get a replacement. Since I wanted to keep it, I guess I'll just use Superglue to seal the cracks and hope for the best. In Overstock's favor, they did give me a retroactive discount to make up for the damage.
