This is one of the nicest Marcasite lockets you will ever find. Price is unbeatable, Quality is excellent. If I could rate this piece more then 5 five stars I would of. Overstock's marcasite jewelry rocks! I bought several other Marcasite pieces for myself and several of these lockets as gifts. I couldn't be happier. I'm going to buy some more of these for Holiday gits. Thanks Overstock!

Very nice locket. It is beautifully designed and well made. I have seen this locket for sale at twice the Overstock price and I would have been happy even had I paid that. The only complaint I had is that the chain is too delicate. We replaced it with a heavier chain. But since the locket, itself, was well worth the purchase price, I am still a happy shopper.

I bought this fas a Christmas present for my mother. It just arrived and I love it. It's absolutely beautiful!! I know she'll love it too (especially after I add a pic of her first granddaughter and have it engraved). I'll be buying the the Marcasite and Turquoise Heart Pendant for myself.

This locket pendant is beautifully made. The marcasite side sparkles and shines very nicely. The onyx's dark smoothness contrasts gorgeously with the ornateness of the marcasite. The hinge opens easily but remains locked in the closed position. The weight and size is substantial and balanced. All in all, a very beautiful locket that will not disappoint. I have purchased one for my daughter (who also has the matching ring) and 2 nieces. I will purchasing two more for two other nieces!!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter and was thrilled with the delicacy of the pendant. It's so rich looking, I bought the similar Turquoise/Marcasite pendant for my daughter-in-law for Christmas. I just know they'll be impressed. The price was below what I had budgeted for their gifts so that leaves me room to give them an extra one. I'm really impressed!

I don't wear a lot of jewelry but this is a great everyday casual and work piece. I have received so many compliments on the piece I was shocked because everyone thought it was a more costly purchase. It goes well with almost everything I wear - just wish the chain was a little longer so I could just pull it over my head (hard to attach clasp because of poor eyesight). That is a personal issue - not related at all to the quality of the piece. My husband has no probl em with the clasp and it is a sturdy chain. Considering it for a gift for Xmas for a couple of friends.
