I bought this pendant to go with a pair of sapphire earrings for my wife. Unfortunately, the stone in this pendant is quite dark, showing virtually no blue at all, appearing almost black. So I was disappointed that the stone didn't more closely resemble what other sapphires look like.

I love blue sapphires. The sapphire on this neckace was black, it didn't shine. This is the second piece of sapphire jewelry I have bought on Overstock that has been a dash disappointing. I'm keeping it as it is a nice looking piece of jewelry but it didn't fulfill my desire for a nice piece of sapphire jewelry.
