Not rose gold
I was so disappointed that this ring was not as described because it was beautiful! But, I was looking for rose gold (pinkish) to go with other jewelry and when I received the ring it was clearly yellow gold. So, it's going back.
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? Description said rose gold which is pinkish. The ring is actually yellow gold.

Very nice design
I passed this ring over several times because of the way the prongs seemed to wrap around the top. They looked as though they covered a large part of the ring. I finally tried it and the real thing does not look like that at all. Another reviewer said hers was yellow plating. Mine was true to the picture with rose gold. The sides were not nearly so large. If you turned it sideways, it looked kind of like an English saddle. Very cool design and sat comfortably on your finger. The sides enhanced it. I did not keep mine because the stones themselves were a little more to the brown ruby color and I found another cluster ring that was more red. I keep thinking I should have tried one more of these to see if the next one had more red. I still might sometime. But if you like the darker color rubies this one is great.

This is a beautiful ring! The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because there is no way it is real (for the price) and I'm not sure if it will tarnish or if the gold overlay will fade over time. Nonetheless, the ring does not look fake or cheap. The rubies are pretty red, compared to another ruby ring I purchased on overstock in which the rubies were more pinkish. And they have some sparkle to them too. The gold overlay is definitely yellow (not rose gold). Overall, it's a very beautiful piece. I hope it stays this pretty forever!

Despite the difference in the gold coloration, this was given as a gift & the recipient was surprised & breathless at the quality & sheer beauty of the ring. After 4 days after receipt, she still cannot stop thanking me for it.
