It is an excellent piece of watch, highly attractive, low in priceing, advanced features of watch technology and having excellent appearance . This makes this watch a wonderful watch, which can be recommended to my friends and relatives.

I own about 45-50 watches of various qualities and combinations from $30 to $2500. This watch ranks right at the top for functionality, durability and fun to fiddle with. Accuracy is good for an automatic (+7 seconds per day) . Compass IS usable if you follow instructions. Watch IS hackable to some extent (like holding the second hand still to calibrate with accurate time). Impressive size, quality and weight (about 1/2 pound).

I had this watch for over a week . It has been keeping perfect time. It is a nice and durable watch which I have had my compliments. My wife loves it and wishes there was a women's version. I had 2 links taking out at the jewery store and was complimented and was asked where did I get it . The only issue I have with the watch is trying to figure out the compass feature. It does not list how to work it in the manual. I seen other reviews with the same issue. If looking for a nice diver's watch, this would be a great choice.

I have only had this watch for a month so I can't comment on the durability. I dropped the features rating only because the package came without clear directions for its use, and I had to search on line (two minutes) to learn how to use the functions; and because the compass function will probably never be used. Having said that I will comment that the watch feels hefty and solid, it was relatively easy to set the date and time, albiet I have to reset it at the beginning of any month with less than 31 days. I have been swimming with it but have not had an opportunity to dive deep yet. I like the watch and I think the price was fair and delivery quick.

I purchased this watch as a graduation present to myself and have not taken it off my wrist since it arrived in the mail. It is nice and heavy and as good a Seiko as I have ever had. Very durable and "manly." The only drawback is that I haven't figured out how to use the compass feature and the directions are not included for that feature.

My wife bought this for my birthday, I had picked it out and told her that's the one that I wanted. I love watches, espically dive watches and have a Tag but was wanting another knock around watch since we live on a lake. It has met all my expectations right out of the box but will have to see about the durability once I get out in the water and beat around the boat and jetskis. Also I am a big guy, it is perfect for my wrist with the size and weight(heavy). This is a great deal and thanks to Overstock.com.

Very nice watch for the price. Really like the added safety catch in the clasp. Not sure how the compass is supposed to work...but I am very pleased. Overstock continues to do a wonderful job with their offerings and shipping.

It is a very durable and nice watch. Certainly you can't compare this watch with an Omega Seamaster which holds a class of its own. However, Seiko watch is reliable and attractive piece of 'EQUIPMENT'. Those that know it will appreciate it accordingly. I like the way it looks. It sits very comfortably on my wrist during my working day. I think that the presence of the compass makes it more rugged but the compass is totally useless. If you need a compass you spend additional $15-20 and buy a real compass. Then you will not get lost in the wild or desert and you will still enjoy wearing this Seiko watch. I dove with it and played sports and it can take a lot of abuse and still be "on time". This site is reliable and sent the watch on time without any complications. I recommend this watch to any man who wants to show off additional masculinity. More over, I say thanks to the Overstock for a prompt and reliable service.

You said that you would never buy anything from Overstoc.com again because the battery in this wonderful Seiko AUTOMATIC watch went dead!! This is an automatic watch that self winds when you wear it or move it. It DOES NOT have a battery. Shake the watch around, or better yet, put it on your wrist and you will begin to see the second hand sweep. Viola! You know what time it is!

This Seiko watch is beautiful. Our only issue with it is that the instruction booklet that came with the watch is incomplete. We have not been able to figure out how to use the compass on the watch, or illuminate it. It is gorgeous.

I am tall and muscular and it is hard to find a watch that is both good looking and bold enough to wear on my wrist. This is a beautiful watch and durable! It is not a black dial it is navy blue which looks even better!!! If you can't afford or you are saving up for the Omega Seamaster or Speedmaster then this is the watch for you... Worth every penny!
