This watch gains 1-3 minutes a day, is fast, I can't tell if unique to this watch or just part of the automatic feature. I've had automatic watches before that kept great time, this one doesn't.

I HAD A OLD SEIKO. AND LOOKED FOR ANOTHER ONE AND WAS EXCITED TO SEE THE SEIKO AUTOMATIC DIVER WATCH AND FOR SUCH A GOOD PRICE. THE WATCH IS VERY DURABLE EASY TO READ HANDS ALSO GLOW IN THE DARK . I WOULD TELL ANYONE THAT THIS AN EXCEPTIONAL WATCH AND VERY SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT.

I bought this watch because I like the look of a dive watch, both stylish and rugged. The only problem with this watch is it gains time , about five minutes fast every three days. I have never owned a watch with automatic movement. A friend of mine has a Rolex "Submariner", that has automatic movement and he says it is really accurate. This problem must be unique to this watch.A good pointer, It's luminescence on the hands and hour markers is superior to any Luminox or other watch I've owned.

The watch is not accurate. The instructions say to wear it for at least 8 hours per day ot keep the automatic function properly "powered." I wore it 12-15 hours per day last week while on a diving trip to mexico and it still lost about 10-12 minutes over night requiring me to reset the watch every morning...the good news is that if you wear it to bed, it will be accurate in the morning....:( Also, it is in fact waterproof....I had it under 100 feet with no problems.

I have wanted to own this watch for a while but didn't want to spend the retail amount for it. When I saw it available at the discounted price, I decided to splurge and buy it. ( It's my Birthday) The watch is everyhing I wanted it to be. I am outdoors alot and I wanted a watch that is durable and I feel this watch will live up to my expectations. I have only owned this watch for a short period of time but the only complaint I have is in the design of the stem size and location. The housing has a slightly sharp edge and when you bend your wrist it can sometimes dig into your skin.

I love this watch. It is easy to read keeps great time and the price was outstanding. I paid almost $300 for a similar Seiko that had a quartz movement years ago and had to replace the battery too often. This was a very good deal.

I bought this watch after the Prague watch I bought for Christmas had a 2nd cracked crystal. I do landscaping and the first time I wore my new Prague watch a rock hit it while I was weedeating and broke the crystal...darn...had it fixed for $85 and as luck would have it the very next time I wore it the same thing happened....what are the odds of that!!!??? A friend has had this model of Seiko for 23 years and it is still intact so I ordered this watch cuz it has the "hardlex" crystal which won't break like the glass one on the "Prague". I'm happy for Overstock.com as I couldn't afford to buy this quality watch locally at "retail" prices. Anyone out there want a Prague watch with a cracked crystal??
