Couldn't find anything as classic and solid in my local area stores to match the value and simplicity of this style. It replaced a blue dial watch from my Dad that couldn't take another repair. Great service and prompt delivery.
I was looking for a watch that would give me just the basic features, but with a stylish apperence. This model offered me both. I purchased my first Seiko in the late 60's while serving in Vietnam, and the quality is as good now as it was then.
This watch is simple yet elegant. It has no special features, but gets the job done.
The watch is fine but the band was not long enough for my arm! My local jeweler will be fixing it Monday,Nov.3,2008 .

I bought this for my boyfriend in Jan2005, it is still in excellent condition 2 years later. This is a very good all around watch with a nice blue faceplate (great for blue eyes). The glow in the dark time handles is a great feature. The only problem is that the date sometimes messes up or switches in to spanish mode. Other than that it is a great buy and I highly recommend it.
