I have one old Seiko watch that I have worn for the last 28 years.I am a truck driver and an outdoorsman.I am rough on watches.Although this watch has worn out 4 bands,it has never failed me,except when the battery gave out.For this reason,I have purchased a self winding version (also,one for my wife).If the new one gives me half the dependable service that my old one has,I shall be well pleased.(By the way,the old watch still works.)I couldn't honestly rate the new one for durability,because I've only had it for a week or so,but I would give the old one the highest rating possible.

A nice looking watch, but I find that it doesn't keep time as well as other watches I have owned. It gains about 10 minutes every few days.

For the price the watch was spectacular. My last watch was a seiko, which I still have after 10 years. So I am hoping to have longevity out of this one aswell. Just be careful what type of shipment you take from overstock. Even for the regular ground, it took forever. Was one of the longest shipping I have ever been apart of in my life. Was kind of ridiculous. That was the only downfall involving this watch.

The Seiko 5 Men's Automatic Two-tone Steel Watch is a real find. It is a handsome piece that can just as appropriately be worn for dress as for casual. The two tone (gold and silver) detail is quite stylish and lends to the watch's versatility. The clear back adds to the expensive look of the piece. It has all the features I was looking for - day of the week, month of the year and self winding - and setting is relatively easy. Additional links for increasing band size were easily obtained by calling the Seiko 800 number in the manual. I bought this as a gift for my husband. He was delighted and is completely satisfied.

Great value...classy watch...a dead ringer for a Rolex...Now retired, I'm not as active as I used to be, so periodically I need to give it a few shakes at night to wind it automatically...keeps very accurate time, within a few seconds during a week's wear...plus, no battery to ever replace! Have recommended the watch to a number of friends...something I normally don't do unless I'm very impressed with an item I've purchased...and that is certainly the case with this Seiko watch...
