I have had the watch for several years, and also had to return the watch to Overstock for repairs since it was under warranty. I am happy with Overstock's service on this product, however; the watch keeps losing time - approximately 5 minutes each month. I do not use it to tell time now since I am never sure of the exact time it shows. The watch looks good but the functionality is questionable.

This watch was a gift for my mother. . It's a great watch. The only thing was that it was big on her so she had to adjust the size. Other than that, she loved it and I was surprised on how little I spent on it.

The reason durability took a hit was the battery is already dying a few days after given as a gift. Must have had some shelf time.

I'm an automatic watch fancier, and I have several for myself. I have tried several different ones for my wife, but she has had a lot of trouble with them - like they won't wind enough during the day and have to be wound every night, or they run too fast or too slow and have to be set often. This inexpensive Seiko has amazed me. It winds properly and doesn't have to be wound manually - it keeps excellent time (had it over a week and still don't know if it's going to be fast or slow) and it looks great - much better than the picture. She previously had a Seiko Kinetic which became a nightmare when the capacitor went bad and it wouldn't charge. I had it overhauled with a new capacitor, and that only lasted a month. That watch is now in the watch graveyard along with a few others. I'm amazed Seiko still makes those things - I hope they have improved the design. Anyway, we're well-pleased with this watch, and I think it's going to be around for some time.

I bought this watch for my girlfriend at xmas 06, and she really liked it and it looks good on her wrist. She wears it every day. The only drawback so far has been adjusting the time (it runs a little slow), it needs to be adjusted about 5 min. every 2 weeks.

"I have already had to take both watches that I purchased to a jewler to try and get the time stems fixed. For the price I wasn't expecting this type of problem. But I was warned about overseas electronics and now I know. This was probably my first and last purchase."

the watch is very nice and so far I enjoy it very much. I wear it for my everyday watch. It is very comfortable on my wrist and easy to read the day, date and time. I recommend it.
