Rose Goldtone 20mm Dual Deployment Butterfly Clasp

I prefer straps over metal bands, & when I purchase a watch that has a buckle I put one of these on. They save your straps from wear,& are much more comfortable on your wrist. Once you wear your watch with this type on it you will purchase many more & this is the place to get them @ a great price!

I had ordered and used butterfly deployment clasps from other Internet Sites but saw that the price on this one was over 50% less. So, I thought I'd give it a try. This clasp fit the designated 20mm buckle end of my watchband. But, the clasp would barely close once it was fully attached. When it did close, it didn't take much pressure to make the clasp unbuckle and open. Without the watchband, it closed just fine. The main reason of getting a butterfly clasp is to use it on thicker watchbands, such as the leather alligator grain band I have. However, this clasp appears as though it would only successfully work on much thinner bands. In the end, I returned this item and went back to one of my trusted Watchband accessory Internet Sites and paid twice the amount but got a great clasp that fit my watchband perfectly and closed/opened firmly, solidly. In the end, you get what you pay for.

Brought this clasp to dress up one of my rose gold watches. When I purchased it I did not know that I had to order it 2mm smaller in order for it to fit on the band. So I ended up using it on another watch and it looks great. After seeing how good it looked and worked, I purchased two more for some of my other watches. the original clasp broke, i was at my wits end to find a replacement at a reasonal price. Thank you overstock for not having what i needed,but at a great price. it is absolutely a perfect fit, and looks great.
