This relative newcomer to watchmaking circles has already defined a niche for itself. Its Parsifal line, launched in 1991, is easily recognizable and enjoys considerable success. Named for classical and operatic music, Raymond Weil's watch collections are simultaneously modern and classical, embellished with luxurious touches like sapphire cabochons on the crown, luminescent pearls on the dial, and ideal-cut diamonds on the bezel. In recent years, the watchmaker has moved further upscale with introductions of mechanical movements and complications.

Elegant
I have been searching for a classic watch for some time now, and stumbled upon this while browsing this web site. I knew instantly this was it. It is a stunning, classic watch that every man should have in his collection. The face of the watch is smooth and flat, nothing bulky to get hung up on. The roman numerals stand out against the background. I wanted a plain background, without all the jumble of the month, year, wind speed, phases of the moon and all that other junk that clutter up a watch. I didn't want a flashy sports watch, which what my Casio is for. The watchband are screw able links, I only had to remove one to have the perfect fit. My only con was the box it came in. It is gigantic and heavy, totally unnecessary. 5 stars, completely happy.
