This watch is EXACTLY what I had in mind, and looks even better in person. It's quite smart looking actually and holds its own either worn casual or dressed up. I have numerous pieces of dark jewelry that needed something other than just a gold or silver tone watch and this is PERFECT! The only down side for me was that I was unable to remove links myself, so I had to pay a jeweler to do so, but when you consider the price of the watch and what you're getting, it's definitely worth it!

This product seems good when viewed online but when it shipped it was a bit of a shock. I bought this for my mom as a gift, she picked it out on the site so that she got one that she wanted. When she got it she pulled it out of the box and it looked very good, a lot better in person, and it is fairly well made. The problems she had was it is way too heavy for her. In truth it is even too heavy for me, a man, as it is heavier than my mens watch even though my watch is much larger than this. Also, for whatever reason, upon taking off the watch her wrist broke out into a rash and started itching even though she only had it on for about a minute. If you are allergic to metals be cautious when you purchase this watch. If you like a small and heavy watch this is a good choice.

I purchased this watch simply because of it's elegant but semi-casual look. I was surprised that it fits both descriptions perfectly. The band was a little large and the jeweler that removed the links even commented on the overall appearence and style of the watch. My friends love it and it works great for evening or work wear. It almost looks like a bracelet rather than a watch. I highly recommend this item to anyone for themselves or as a gift!
