Presentational generic box included. If available, the original Rolex box will be included in its current condition. If a leather watch band is pictured, it is general practice for a new generic leather band to be featured with the Rolex watch. Most men's watch bands can be sized to fit 7.5-inch wrists. Extra links are available through the manufacturer. (We do not provide this service).

Screw-down crowns create a stronger seal against the case than a push-and-pull knob, giving the watch a greater water resistance factor. To unscrew the crown, grasp the knob and turn it counter-clockwise (towards you) a number of times until it releases. Then pull or push the crown into position to set the time, date, and other functions. To close the crown, press it against the case while turning in a clockwise direction.

This watch is powered by automatic movement which means the winding of the spring occurs automatically when the wearer moves his/her arm. However, it is recommended that you manually wind the watch at least once every two weeks. It is also important to adjust the time once a month as automatic movement can gain or lose a few minutes per month.

    The watch appears to be brand new without any smudges, scratches or signs of wear. It keeps perfect time. It's a bit smaller than I imagined but that makes it more subtle than a "showoff" piece. My only complaint is that the band was too small. Overstock offered to send me two additional links for $XXX; I found them at the local Rolex dealer for much less.

    • I haven't checked the year yet, but would guess it is 20 years old. It came with a very nice non-Rolex box and a certificate of sorts was provided by Overstock.com. I like it very much; appeared to be brand-new with no scratches, smudges or signs of wear; keeps perfect time. Beware however to ensure the listed wrist size conforms to yours. Extra links are very expensive; I was able to find them at the local Rolex dealer.

    • Hello acantohotels, The watch is from the 1980’s and in excellent condition, it comes with a standard gift box there is no Rolex box or original Rolex paperwork included. But in previous comments it states Overstock provides you with a certificate. You should receive the certificate with the item. I hope this information helped. Thanks for shopping with us!
