I ordered these earrings expecting great things. When I received them, the first thought that popped into my mind was..."Are these real?" One of the earrings was scratched, and the glue to the posts of the earrings was very noticeable. It looked like someone had painted the white to the pearls because there was a hint of white on the posts....I was not impressed at all and immediately returned these earrings.

I am very satisfied with my earrings. I wish you would carry more platinum earrings.

it is a unique piece to have, but it does not dangle as much as i wanted. it is a good value now.

Sturdy earrings. A Beautiful piece...I wear them to formal events or when I get a little dressy.

I always wanted Akoya pearls. I saw them once in San Francisco and told myself I would buy myself a set. Finally after seeing these, I decided to buy them. How could I not, they are so affordable. Like on the picture, the earrings look amazing. I really enjoy wearing them, the pearl are creamy and very very lustrous. I would buy them again and recommend them to everyone. No doubts.

The earrings are exactly what I have been looking for - they are beautiful! I am really glad that they really do look like their photo on the website - I was afraid the web might make them look larger or prettier than they actually are, but this is no the case at all. My only suggestion to others considering them would be to NOT have them sent directly to someone as a gift. This is because, considering what I paid for them, they came in a pretty cheap looking cardboard box that I wouldn't have wanted to receive.

I really wanted these pearls. I didn't have any Akoya pearls in my collection and I'm so happy I finally decided to purchase some. I'm really satisfied with the purchase and with my first online experience. I will be back, I adore this website.

These are really elegant and high-quality earrings; my wife adores them. The platinum lends a heftiness to the earrings that you don't get with white gold versions. The price was great - about the same as white gold versions I found on other web sites. I am thrilled with this purchase!

Sadly as lovely as these earrings appear, they are incredibly fragile. The platinum is soft and mine, after only owning them for a year, are bent out of shape. The pearls are gorgeous, but the setting leaves a lot to be desired. I still wear the often to work, but would not recommend them to anyone with an active lifestyle.

My ears are close to my head and studs are hard to see. These are perfect because they drop away from my ears and face. They are lustrous and elegant, but because they are simple, too, I wear them with jeans as well as to work. I love the platinum setting, but I gave a 4 to workmanship because the pearl is apparently glued to the setting (read in other reviews).

The pearls appear larger than actual size in the website ad. The earings are definitely appropriate for every day wear. A petite person with small ear lobes might find the hoops too large and the earing overall too large for everyday wear. For an average to large person they are a nice accent and good alternative to studs or hoops.

I was wanting pearls that would look like they dripped off the earlobes. These are almost it. They are modern and elegant. I feel plain until I put them on. I wear them everywhere. I did not encounter any of the quality problems some reviewers have in the past. The big surprise.... I wore these to the opening of the Harry Winston Diamond Salon in Chicago as my only piece of jewelry and I got compliments! A BIG name diamond salon! Imagine that...

They are a creamy lustrous white. She adored them. She hasn't taken them off yet. I loved the price and service I got with this purchase. I will be back on Overstock to buy more jewelry!
