    • Great for the dollar...heck, great regardless!`

      I was buying my girlfriend of 1 year her first real earrings (real gemstone, etc...). She didn't know what she wanted, but she's had some problems with her ears reacting poorly to silver, and even gold (allergic?). A jeweler recommended platinum, and she tried on a quarter carot pair (that the store had on sale for $499). The quarter carot fit well, and looked nice, but I certainly didn't want to go smaller. I found the 1/3 here for a little over half, and decided to try them. They looked quite similar to the ones in the store, but I certainly liked the price. Well, she loved them, and the look great on her. Do yourself a favor and have her try on a similar pair for size at a store so you can get an idea of the size and its appropriateness. As for negatives...I don't like that they come without certification papers, and as everyone else said, the box is ugly. Finally, buy these. Buy a small earring box somewhere else for a couple of bucks, and give a gift that she'll love.

    • My diamond earrings

      I was searching for earrings that would look good and not hurt. I have been having a lot of problems with other earrings causing headaches and ear aches. These little sparklers are small but great looking and the platinum, the purest metal available, has been comfortable even when I wear them all day. And the price fit my budget! I appreciate the information on cut, color, carat, etc., that Overstock offers about diamonds so that I could be an informed consumer. I also appreciate the low shipping rate and that the earrings arrived so quickly. Love my diamond earrings!!!

      Lovely earrings and the good lady was very pleased. Delivery to the UK was as advertised, even though tracking only seemed to go as far as the US hub, so concerns were unfounded.

      I bought these for my gf's birthday, I'm giving them to her tonight. They are amazing. They came in yesterday and I havent stopped looking at them! lol If your looking for some earrings that are humble in size yet obviously top quality, these are them. I feel like I got a great dea too, these would be 5-6 hundred in a jewelry store.
