I bought this as a thank you gift for a friend and it did appear a lot larger in the picture, probably twice as big. I was a little disappointed because it was not what I was expecting, but it has grown on me again. It is a beautiful pendant and the stone in the pendant that I received was just as beautiful as the one in the picture
