Neno Buscotti 14k Yellow Gold Overlay 9-inch Mariner Link Bracelet (12.5 mm)

I bought this bracelet for my son. It really is a mans bracelet, heavy and masculine in appearance. He was delighted. It looks very expensive and for the price, very classy. I was very pleased with the purchase, and more importantly, so was he.

I've ordered dozens of things from overstock, this is the first disappointment. It's probably largely my own fault, I obviously didn't visualize the dimensions of this piece properly as it is very large and gaudy. The lobster clasp and jump ring are a good inch of the length of the bracelet. I can appreciate it might make it more secure however it isn't very attractive on something of such a short length. The individual links are HUGE. My husband is a big man and the bracelet still looks silly on him, not sexy like it should. I suppose for some, BIG jewelry is in and this may be the style they are looking for, but for a man of traditional things, this is surely not it. The quality of construction seems very sturdy, I certainly can't complain about that but the overall appearance seems cheap or cheesy. My son has a Figaro link 14k gold overlay bracelet from overstock that looks beautiful. It appears natural, like an authentic 14k bracelet. This bracelet's links definitely look undefined and puffy, like it is obviously something gold coated and fake masquerading as something authentic. No one will mistake this piece for the real thing.

I was shocked at how large and cheap looking this item was. It looked like something that should have been in a bubble gum machine. I purchased it for my husband and also purchased a steel bracelet and necklace for him and I only gave him the steel set. I never even showed him the yellow gold one! I would not even give the yellow gold one to either of my teenage sons as I know they will wonder what Dollar Store did I get it from! VERY disappointed with this one but it is the first item from Overstock that I was not happy with.

Absolutely beautiful. It is a very nice quality and it was birthday gift very much loved.
