VERIFIED PURCHASEI purchased these so that I could repair my watch bands as well as change batteries for my watches easier because they allow me to see more intricate details. In fact they've become helpful for a lot of things I needed to see up close so I would highly recommend getting these glasses. The price was a good deal as well.

Yowza! 20X is a lot of magnification!
VERIFIED PURCHASEOk, I only got these because they looked cool. Remove the lenses and spray the whole thing with some copper-like paint and you've got a great steam-punk accessory. The lights only add to coolness factor. With the 20X magnification, you practically have to old an object right up to the lens. Don't expect any stereoscopic effect at that distance! You can flip a lens out of the way pretty easily. You can also unscrew the outermost lens to reduce the magnification. For the price, these are fun. You might actually be able to use them for watch repair—I don't know.

It a true 20x magnifying...
VERIFIED PURCHASEI bought this to help with watch repair - more battery changing. However, it's really more of a very fine intricate work lens. Let's put it this way, it would be great for pulling that splinter out with tweezers! All joking aside, they flip up and have lights that really do work and help. They are a little delicate in that the lenses are heavy for the frame. Just overkill for what I needed but am sure I will use them for something around the house!

VERIFIED PURCHASEHusband is a watch collector and thought he would like this. It did have some tools that he needed. But he was a little disappointed that it did not come with a case or container of some kind. Tools were good for watch repairs.

This set has every item you could possible need to get the job done without damage to the watch and has already paid for itself Just in handling my families battery replacements. if you collect timepieces or just grow tired to taking your items to a jeweler this is a Must have tool!!!
