Michael Valitutti Two-tone Peacock Pearl, Amethyst and Pink Sapphire Ring (9-10 mm)

I was so disappointed when I opened the box! I couldn't see the stones as well as I thought I would be able and two of the sapphires were almost completely obscured by prongs. Now I do realize that the picture is not to scale but it sure gives you the impression that going to be able to see the stones well. In addition, the pearl was either too small or set too high for the setting as I could see space all the way around it. It would have been so easy to do it correctly. I loved the filigree work in the picture, it's a huge part of what attracted me to this ring. However, there were places throughout where the filigree design was not well done. There was extra metal in what should have been open space and for a designer ring at $$$, I expected more. I am returning it and will get most of my money back as I have to pay the over $$ for shipping (unless they feel it is their fault and then they won't keep the shipping charge). Second ring I've bought from this site with bad workmanship. The first was only $$$ so I didn't hassle a return, but I won't be buying anymore jewelry from here.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Feels substantial but, the metal work is not what it should be for the price. Stones NOT the same size, if so, covered by shoddy metalwork.
