Each stone will be different and the picture for this pendant shows a lot more, and more noticeable threads than the pendant I got. But that is not a bad thing. I've seen rutilated quartz that was so heavily threaded that it made the stone look ugly. the stone I got has such thin and light gold threads, and not a lot of them, that I think it compliments the setting more. The setting is just beautiful too, the pendant is very sturdy. I didn't really notice the white sapphires but they are there, they just sort of blend in more with the top piece of the pendant.The only drawback for this item is the chain. It is very light chain for such a heavy pendant, and it looked to be silver tone instead of real silver. Perhaps it needs cleaning to brighten it up, but it really looks rather dull compared to the setting of the pendant. No matter, I have another chain I can swap out if needed.
