My boyfriend ordered the silver version of this ring. I really liked it, but decided I would order the gold version, to see which one I liked better and return whichever one I didn't want to keep. I ended up keeping the gold one (which was higher priced). He returned the silver one and in addition to having to pay for return shipping ($8.00), which we understand, the amount of the refund was reduced by about $30 because the price of the ring had dropped since he purchased the ring a week or two earlier. I double checked the return policy, which says if you return something after 30 days, the price may be reduced. We returned our item in less than 30 days so we should have gotten the full refund (less the return shipping fee.) Because of this, we will no longer be buying anything from Overstock which is a shame, because they do have great deals.
I bought this for my wife for Christmas and not only did she love it, but so did her entire family. This is a gorgeous ring in person and it looks amazing on her. It has such a beautiful older elegance.. almost as if it came straight out of the victorian or edwardian era. So many people have asked her if it was a family heirloom ring. She constantly gets compliments on it. As for the diamonds being "milky" or "clouded", I'm guessing there are people out there with their standards set too high for buying jewelry at a good price. There is nothing wrong with the diamonds in this ring. It's a beautiful piece of jewelry. Don't overthink it.
I've owned this ring for several months and it never fails to garner compliments every time I wear it. I adore the vintage look and style of the piece, and it works well whether I am dressed casually, or for a night out. The only reason I am not giving it a five star rating is because I am concerned that the ring is not made as well as it could have been.
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? Exactly.
- How accurate was the sizing? Perfectly accurate.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. I'm a little worried that some of the foundation work is too thin to withstand regular wear.
